We're paying an extra $3000 to transfer in Toronto instead of Houston on our way overseas this summer. Because we 1) don't want to die in an American plane crash and 2) don't want to find ourselves detained by the American gestapo.

There's nothing good about going to the US. No thank you.

Smart and worth the $$

We cancelled our direct AC flight Vancouver-Nashville. (AC just started that new flight as well lol)! Lost a bit of money but saved $$400O-$5000 on hotels, food, attractions etc.
