Sully, one of a group of pups abandoned,now lies a great life. His day job is staying at a vets office, being a blood donor when needed. When not donating, he hangs at the office,comforting all in other ways!
Awww. They’re both so beautiful. As the mom of a lovely 3-legged House Hippo (aka Pitbull), I know that both of these dogs are going to be amazing companions.
Geez, I NEVER get tired of wonderful, furry stories that wind up with a happy ending! There’s so much to fuss about; dogs are the angels that we don’t deserve.
Thank you for your support of dogs and for sharing these wonderful stories. In today’s climate we really need to be reminded that there are good & big hearted creatures in this world.
Makes me wonder whether there is a causal relationship between large swathes of the western world nowadays more concerned with pets than with the rise of fascism, unashamed genocide and the loss of personal freedoms.🤔

You are more likely to have a dog with a universal blood type than not. My 3 golden retievers over the years were from different breeders and were all universal blood donors.
Also not true. Only DEA 1.1 negative dogs are universal donors and only a small percentage of dogs are DEA 1.1. Different breeds have different likelihoods of blood types.
okay im all for saving dogs but can we really call it donating? dog don't sign consent forms n other shi he jus kinda gets blood sucked from him to give to the other dog. not hating just an observation w dog post

Sadly, I want to share the story of a little pit named Biscuit today. Biscuit was just a puppy when his owner was unlawfully evicted from his home and Biscuit was promptly put to death afterward because he showed signs of aggression to the people trying to capture him. He was nothing but sweet. RIP.
Gorgeous story. I saved the runt girl of a litter with hand-feeding and a few vet visits. She now demands that she sleep on my pillow and that I must put my head close enough for her to keep her paw on my head. Dogs have a love instinct that would make us better humans.

I've made several written requests that your non-profit think about supporting grants to low income people who need money to pay for vet care costs they are simply unable to afford themselves but nobody has ever written back in response. I am still hopeful someone will offer a response.
Here in Canada we have Canadian Animal Blood Bank. My girl Ginny has made 6 donations so far and can do so every 3 months. Each donation can save the lives of 3 dogs. Get out there with your pups and help save lives!

We used to hero dogs and cats at the vet clinic where I worked. I’ve seen puppies and kittens at death’s door turn completely around and the hero pet find a loving home afterward!
Scout did not look too enthusiastic about "donating" blood...so he most probably did not really consent. 😉 As he would have had no so called medical training to prepare him, i hope he got a massive reward after the procedure as compensation and positive feedback. Good to see the puppy well.

The shelter in volunteer with uses it for communication and keeping up with fosters
But it got harder every day to justify keeping it so I finally ditched it.
