I think pretty much everyone agrees that Jesus was a real historical figure, the difference is just whether or not they believe he was the messiah. But he was generous, was kind to people on the margins of society, stood up for people, and starting flipping tables when people tried to do capitalism

The moneychangers in the Temple weren't doing capitalism, they were there to facilitate tithing. All Jesus did was interrupt Jewish practice.
