Book sellers think it’s a ritual to be strictly upheld. If you can’t remove it in one go the next book will have smudged printing, etc.

Bruv, it’s the paper part that’s the problem. Not the sticker. Clean peal stickers are a thing and used by most other retailer.

Just use a blow dryer they’ll come off easy. Also their response will be hey let’s just print on the cover and then you can’t take them off.
