It's almost like you have to have some sort of central pillar that's at the very least cheering on their victories so that when you criticize that party it's not the only thing that's out in the ether.

Since we don't have that, the only narrative is DEMS SUCK.

Also, the Republican Party pretty much gets this same treatment. It’s funny because I’ve seen very similar discussions that are happening on the left going on in RW twitter threads (don’t see them anymore cause I quit Twitter and there isn’t really a RW Bluesky)

No it doesn’t. Publicly, there is much more pressure on dissenters in the GOP. There’s no reward for breaking with the party or criticizing it. That has been true this entire century, but only gotten worse with Trump as standard bearer.

Same. But .... also.... I hate this to become a reason I can't criticize my own party to hopefully make it better. I feel like the rhetoric of criticizing dems is falling into the trap set by republicans just makes us stagnate.
