Strange when I am asked what nationality you define your self on forms or police after making a complaint I. Ways refer to my mothers country although I was born here both of my sons have migrated to other countries

Rather than thinking that people don't get along bc they inherently dislike other ethnicities, it is more sensible (and hopeful) that scarce resources, money, strapped time means people feel less connection with others. It also suggests local civic, economic and antipoverty policies as the solution

One further point. We shd certainly seek to measure and increase social mixing in local areas. However, we should be careful not to assume social mix is only at the residential level. In particular, workplaces are *less* segregated for all ethnic groups in the UK

Exactly. And yet the results of late capitalism are routinely blamed on the scapegoat of immigration, or even trans identity. These people are incorrigible in their willingness to distort the truth to ensure that they can go on sticking it to the rest of us.
