friendly reminder: the protagonist is not synonymous with "good" or "hero" - they are simply a leading character, whose choices and actions drive the story.

The problem according to the article is that she's "unlikeable," aka the worst thing a female character could be. Shauna is awful and THAT'S THE POINT. The writers have done this on purpose. Not every protagonist is someone you have to want to root for.
