It wasn't much of an attempt. None of the protesters were armed. The vote was delayed a couple of hours. boo hoo

Okay. Per your link 1 (ONE) person had a firearm. The firearm was not used. They merely had it in their possession. From your link, it isn't clear if this person even entered the Capitol Building itself.
