Most don't weigh 10x a car unless you're talking about a smart car, they typically weigh like 8,000-10,000lbs. A forklift is only as safe as it's operator
Not meant to take them off the concrete floor, either. They concentrate a lot of weight in a small area and if your warehouse or whatever adjoins to an area not rated for them then there must be a barrier that they can't cross.
Yet sooner or later someone starts sticking weapons on them and they eventually become Mobile Suits, Imperial Knights, Amaims, Knighmare Frames, Armored Cores, Battlemech, etc.
