Hey everyone, I’ve got a tough update. Art is my main source of income, but sketch commissions and YCHs have slowed down a lot lately. I’ve done my best to keep going, but I’m now at a breaking point and really need help. 🧵

Because of chronic health stuff, I’ve relied more on YCHs (easier to manage), but even those haven’t been selling. I’ve lowered prices, offered monthly batches — still struggling. I’m maxed out on my credit card just trying to stay afloat.
And now, I’ve been summoned to a court hearing for eviction. I’m 2 months behind on rent. The building says if I can pay $3200 CAD / $2330 USD before July 10, they’ll drop the case and let me stay. But I can’t do it alone.
I hate asking this. I’ve tried for months to avoid it. But I’m begging on my diaper for help. 😔 Even small contributions, signal boosts, or grabbing a sketch or YCH could keep a roof over my head right now.

She was originally from a story I was writing a while back. It was about how a scientist taught her the basics of human life and everything that went into doing so.
Unfortunately, the story itself was lost to a failed hard drive. But Akako the squid-girl still lives on!
