yeah, I think the reason there is that OE hūs was neuter while OE mūs & lūs were feminine, so they had different paradigms
PWGer *hūs, pl. *hūsu vs PWGer *mūs, pl. *mūsi
PWGer *hūs, pl. *hūsu vs PWGer *mūs, pl. *mūsi
