There’s only one effective ‘intervention’ — or the threat of one — that works on these people. The French were the first to show how it’s done, and the Russians did it their own stupid way. FDR understood that Americans might do the same, so he came up with the New Deal that has now all been undone.

I know. But, I don’t care if he overdoses tomorrow. The fact that he’s doing drugs and getting high as a kite in the White House with complete impunity—while the rest of us would rot in prison for the same thing—is just another sign of the double standard between the rich and everyone else.
