It's not like Putin can't develop patsy within the EU. It's not like he's still even now influencing them with energy.
Basically, Ukraine can't afford stop bombing the russia. Preferably bombing it back into the stone age.
It's NATO membership and only NATO membership that will secure Ukraine in the future.
US antics regarding 80-year old trade and security have changed things a bit.
There will be a new security framework that does not include the US.
In defence terms, still 1000x more significant than EU membership.
Circumstances aside, 80 years is a long time for any relative peace in Europe. It's time for it to act like a superpower
EU membership would be a catalyst for a made-in-Europe security solution though and cement Ukr as Euro.
if Hungary has to leave....so be it.
A few months, putin was putting out his demands for negotiations; he categorically said no to Ukraine in NATO but explicitly said that joining EU was fine with him
I donβt know why thoughβ¦ prob he doesnβt see the EU as a threat to his expansionist wars
When Ukraine joins the EU and NATO, it will be the final nail in the Russian the coffin. Their delusional dreams of Empire die forever with that reality.
Bad actors in NATO will hobble anti-Russian action
Also Europe is clearly ramping up massively!
