I really want to read it but I’m confused about how similar it sounds to Groundhog Day. Like, doesn’t Groundhog Day do everything it’s possible to do with the idea of repeating a day? He says having not read it. Does it sort of acknowledgment the precedent? - ThreadSky

I’m about 50 pages in and can honestly say it is far far removed from ‘Groundhog Day’.

Ok brill I’m going in. All I mean by my comment is that, say you were to write a book about an author staying in a haunted hotel wouldn’t you have to sort of acknowledge The Shining? So just wondering if it does that. Anyway, I’ll find out myself this week!
