You're ok as long as you have a current passport that matches your legal name. I took my middle name as my legal last name in '96, so it doesn't exactly match my birth cert., but does match my passport, thank goodness. I can't believe we're having these conversations.
I thought it had to match your birth certificate, which is why they were disenfranchising married women who took their husband's name....Ew. I did keep my maiden name as my middle name on some documents. I have to look to see if that's on my passport. I can't believe we're back here either.
