This is why the Weird thread from Walz connected so well, because most people are thinking it. It also connects to core American ideals about individual autonomy and freedom. An easy widely appealing message is get government away from our bodies, houses, bathrooms, etc.

I've been saying a while now that the winning move is to make fun of the right for being evil and stupid, and then explain in simple terms how the other side can improve material reality for the voters and then(this is key), actually do that when. elected
