The more loudly someone describes themselves as a free speech absolutist the more consistently they oppose any and all free speech that they personally disagree with.

This is 1000% believable even though it flies against him supposedly wanting more uplifting and positive news over there. Because at the end of the day all he really wants is for people to like him, or at least to have the illusion that they do.
