That’s only 2 kinds. I planted 13 varieties. Couple kinds are small heads but most kinds are quite large. A good year for garlic. Must have been all that winter rain we had. 😁❤️🐈⬛

There are thousands of varieties. Genetics show that most, but not all, are linked to one genotype or other. Purple striped, marbled purple, Turban, Artichoke, Rocambol, Porcelain are the ones I like. 🐈⬛
Yes! It’s exciting trying them. They’re not all the same though they are all garlic. Some are sweeter some are more sulfurous. Some store for almost a year but others only for a couple months. And they can be quite colorful. Stores carry usually just 1 kind. ❤️🐈⬛
