We have a Google data center being built where I live. There's another by Meta being built in the NW part of the state iirc. What is a commonality to building sites?
They are being built near rivers because these data centers need huge amounts of water to cool them.

The jobs are nowhere near as good as they think and easily half can be done remotely. You are talking maybe 100 t1 or t2 level jobs per datacenter.

I live in Fremont California. There is a Tesla plant here. He’s being sued for hundreds of millions of dollars for ignoring EPA standards and polluting my city. And people wonder why they’re going after groups regulating actual fraud?
