My real question is: should club officials and social media admins who consistently claim 'bias' in refereeing decisions be forced to referee some grass roots football with their performance reviewed afterwards?

Also, is the premier league the new league cup? It feels increasingly weird to see United and Spurs just give up on the league in pursuit of the ‘Europa League’. I totally get the logic but the league has been the gold standard for so long that it doesn’t sit right.

Re top flight sides in the playoffs, they were initially introduced as a method to reduce the number of top flight teams from 22 to 20, over two seasons. Two up, three down automatically, then a four-team playoff including one from the top flight.

Leeds lifted the Championship trophy last week as they did 2 seasons ago. Before that they lifted that same trophy in 1992 when it was the First Division trophy. Has any other team done this, lifted the same trophy for winning 2 different competitions?
