Thank you for bringing these up. One, I probably wouldn’t have noticed. But, more than likely, two, I’d have noticed but thought I was going crazy. 😅

I don't know why Bungie made changes, but my theory for Cure (which seems to be the one icon that folks aren't vibing with) is because it shared a similar design to Restoration (wasn't changed). Plus it aligns with their renewed focus for new players for legibility.

I find them quite easy to recognize now. Especially for the stand ones, this more abstract design is very beneficial imo. I love the fangs in Devour too..it just makes sense 😈
