I honestly don't know if Trudeau should resign. There's just too many variables for me to make an informed opinion. 1. Harris 🇺🇸 was a lesson. He needs to go early enough for someone to come through the party process and for the voters to get to know her / him.
2. A new leader needs time to make the case for their plan beyond “not him”. Not PeePee won’t win.

Same. In the past few weeks, he seems weak and desperate to boost his popularity. Visiting Trump: good move. Letting Trump dictate our expenditures: bad move. GST holiday: good idea, but impulsive, poorly thought out Firing Freeland: really bad move. Per the Beatles, money can't buy you love.

Unfortunately I think he needs to. It's sad because Canada is doing well. It's global issues that make it seem worse than it is. Trudeau has done a good job IMO, but he needs to step down for the good of the party. The misinformation trolls have stained him too severely to survive 2025. 🇨🇦🙏

Trump could want him to stick around because Trudeau flattered him. His opinion means nothing and could change in an hour. I'm not saying he shouldn't resign, but I'm also not seeing anyone who can step up to the challenge.

Maybe, but Freeland also had the advantage of working with people around Trump who were grounded in reality. All the gatekeepers are gone now, and Republicans control all levels of government.
It's not going to be the same as last time. But I do agree she displays the competence we need for this.

I dont disagree, but Im not sure who would do that. We also need 3rd party groups to do a lot of the dirty work. I feel like those of us on the left have been playing by rules that the right has been ignoring for years, and we've been getting our asses kicked because of it.

It is almost impossible to figure out what is real and
what is propaganda. And I have yet to see one concrete
reason why he should resign. I don’t vote because of

Same. I'm not seeing any real reason other than being worried because of polls. But the same right wing hate machine will target anyone who replaces him. Trudeau leaving won't fix that.
