I had lots of fun with them back in the day. The one for SMB3 was great because of the use of the eReader cards to add more levels or have odd things like being able to use SMB2 vegetables in the game.
i literally closed bsky and then whipped it back open when i processed which game you were talking about...that was literally my childhood and one of my absolute favorite things of the GBA releases. So many SNES classics and the Mario games were done so well on GBA
I was aware of that with the Mario games back in the day, but because of those games, I thought Sega did the exact thing with Sonic the Hedgehog. I skipped those games to only realize many years later that all those Sonic Advance games were original titles.
Amazing series of games. Super Mario Advance was my first GBA title and it felt strange playing SMB2 on Super Mario all stars after. Kept expecting voice clips LOL
I played Mario World for the first time that way, so I'm quite attached to that port. 3 is alright too, but idk, I'll always prefer the NES originals, I just think their charm is best there.
