It's the French Fry shortage in a different context.
Commercial fries come in large, generally generically wrapped several pound bags, in boxes.
Residential is one pound bags in colored plastic baggies.

Yeah there was almost a shortage here on the west coast when the east dock workers were on strike. It’s made domestically and we all shit the same amount! Panics are so dumb lol
