Over the course of three decades American media devolved and the 4th Estate crumbled into reality show for access, eyeballs, and clicks. We're all being held hostage by it now. That being the case, it makes complete sense that trump is the enormous threat that he is.
The reason Trump’s shallow accusation that media is Fake News takes hold so strongly is because so many of us know that corporately owned and controlled media conglomerates serve a different agenda than informing the populace.
