He really did which is surprising to me since Seder is a great debater and I wonder if he had more knowledge about CA’s onerous policies, he’d end up agreeing with Klein.

I don’t know. I feel like Klein has been everywhere and this book has gotten so much publicity. I live in Michigan’s UP and I know about California’s policies. There was sort of an anti-abundance bandwagon that might not be entirely rational. It is a paradigm shift for parts of the left.
I've heard Klein on the circuit too and mostly agree with his takes. The anti-abundance bandwagon is why we have a housing shortage in CA, esp in coastal communities as well as outdated, inadequate infrastructure. Much of the left still wants those policies that halt progress. Conundrum indeed.
