An ashcan edition traditionally refers to a beta of a tabletop game cheaply printed for distribution at a convention, and disposable once played (into an ashcan). Although ashcan editions of games that have since become successful are pretty collectible.

The Print version will be the final, non-ashcan version with a bunch of additional classes and other stuff, including a GMing guide. We're aiming for late 2025 early 2026 but no promises!

Reading through the Realis Ashcan is a joyous experience, full of flavour and clarity even in the uniqueness of its content. The examples of play are deeply helpful for understanding and imaging the narrative back and forth that really makes me want to play and run this game.
