Ppl will look at your bio & posts to ensure they are not following bots, porn, ppl who think it’s a dating site, crypto, MAGA & other such nuisances. And they will block in order to create a their own more enjoyable experience. Starter packs are a great way to find like minded & your interests.
add a bio to your profile, maybe even a banner photo, comment on some posts, participate in the # things like #WaterfallWednesday (there are different ones for each day of the week), just pick and choose and before you know it people will follow and engage with you.
Given our experience on the other platform, many of us look to see what’s in your bio and your original posts not just those retweeted. Give it a try and your numbers will grow. Engagement is different on BlueSky, thank goodness. It take a bit of time, but by posting it will happen.
