“Donald Trump’s one hundred days, from January 20 to April 30, 2025, will stand as a monument to the bloated, twisted power of the American Presidency and to the impotence of the U.S. Congress,” Jill Lepore writes.

I loved this article. I have 11 of the Little Leather Library Corporation books apparently published in 1915 that I inherited from my parents. I had almost forgotten about them, which I keep in a secretary cabinet. One is "FIFTY AMERICAN POEMS" and they are wonderful.
Supreme Court's forcing of Christian religion DISASTROUSLY ATTACKING LAICISM in our multi religioned country w funds sounds like the acts of medieval engisitionists from Europe! Will S.Court allow non-Christians to be forced to be deported(exiled) with stupid reasonings(by mistake) or killed either?
I think Trump and his band of theives are bloating and twisting the power of the American Presidency. The power is there for emergencies. Congress is there to prevent abuse of that power. Republicans are refusing to do the job they all swore to God they would do.
This is what will happen:
- #Bukele claims that he refuses to release Abrego Garcia.
- Marco Rubio claims to negotiate with the El Salvador President.
- Bukele releases #Abrego #Garcia.
- Abrego Garcia returns to the US.
- Trump claims to be the most humane president ever.
No question that Congress is impotent, this body of morons is mostly made up of cowards who are too lazy to truly work for the American people. They kneel and 💋 kiss the orange 🍊 buffoons’ ass. That is their raison etre, and nothing else matters!
