As expected, the rightwing “Constitutional” sheriff movement was about convincing sheriffs to ignore Democratic presidents and governors, not Republican ones.
When you are having to threaten people in order to get what you want, you're losing. Trump's whole Presidency is a giant failure, and all of this crap he's pulling is to try and divert your attention away. As Rick Wilson once quipped, "Everything Trump touches dies."
