Good idea. Better than taking up all the space in a local cafe whilst sitting on one cup of coffee for 2 hours. This happened at one last week and you could see the owner getting more & more impatient. Especially as people were coming in but leaving due to no free tables - just a sea of laptops.

Exactly. Good space for it.

Felt sorry for the cafe owner. Only had about seven tables and 5 of them had one person on a laptop at them. All with one drink each. Saw quite a few people (sans laptop) come in and leave.

When each table has a twat doing zoom calls and they spread out like people do in coffee shops and you just want a quiet pint and lunch it will look very different. 🤣🤣

That's why it's a separate section. Also nobody* who needs to do Zoom calls would want to do it from the pub - doesn't give the most professional vibe.

*Who wants to keep their job, anyway.

Ahh the separate section is a good idea.
I’m constantly amazed by people who have conf calls in airline lounges/hotel bars… literally no idea who can hear the conversation. I’ve actually heard people being interviewed and discussing salaries…
