Here's where things stand in Petrova's case:

(1) DOJ filed a motion to dismiss for lack of jurisdiction. They argue Petrova has to go through removal proceedings before an immigration judge and that she must file in Louisiana if she wants to bring habeas claim.

Judge took issue under advisement.
