Do we really need everyone to speak with that disclaimer first all the time? We can tell it's an opinion by the content of the sentence. I teach my middle schoolers to discern fact from opinion 😮💨

All I'm saying is that's not how people communicate in the real world. Being clear is good, but The listener has to do *some* amount of thinking, and calling people out on technicalities is annoying and unproductive. We don't do this in verbal conversation, why do it here?
Where have I disputed that?...read my comment and work out what it's in response to...you're doing the exact thing you're accusing me of. As the listener, DO YOUR THINKING.
I'm not accusing you of not thinking, because I actually believe you did know it was an opinion from the start. You just wanted OP to say it was an opinion for some reason.
Again - for the fourth time - not criticising your opinion, criticising your reaction to other people's objection to how you expressed said opinion. If you want to avoid that, perhaps adding "For me" at the beginning would help end the tears.
I think you already knew that without them saying it. I just don't want all conversations here to have to have pedantic disclaimers stating that opinions expressed are opinions so others don't get upset. But most of all, I'm done with this conversation. ✌🏻
You’re really doubling down and it’s just book vs movies. It’s ok not to agree, but your anger and continued engagement suggests you are, in fact, the problem.

Tone policing and ‘well actually’ is the domain of ppl without any real argument. Bullies without a spine
