Fair enough. I wonder if junk emails could be better blocked if mail servers could actually be whitelisted.
The same applies to spam calls/texts. It's possible for telecoms to set up a caller ID that can't be spoofed, but they won't do it because they get paid to route calls. The FCC does nothing.
