The joke from that era was that sex with a molecular biologist was having him stand at the bottom of the bed and tell you at length how great it was going to be.
How hard could it be? I don't see why not.

One time I was interviewing a disease gene researcher and I asked him when he thought there'd be a freely available cure (which he was raving about), and he said "10 years."
