#RecipeOfTheDay is Spiced Peaches, which sounds unseasonal but it is a festive fixture for me – and, anyway, the peaches are out of a can! https://www.nigella.com/recipes/spiced-peaches

We have ham in coke every year on Xmas Eve, so tins of peaches duly went in the trolley today after seeing this! Looking forward to trying, thanks Nigella!
So pleased you think your card is lovely, N! It’s always a pleasure to create them for you. Thank you re my weekend. Hoping to rest as much as I can, difficult to get comfortable. Also my elderly Aunt had a fall and is in hospital so I need to visit her, as it’s not sounding too good at the minute.💕
Lovely recipe Nigella. But the text is in grey which makes it difficult for ancient and/or malfunctioning vision. (Not just your site - lots do it.)
Anyway. Merry Christmas!
It’s Domestic Goddess (cake & pudding made) & I’m re-visiting Nigella Express for some of your wonderful Christmas recipes this year for family drop-ins on Christmas morning. Chilli Jam and your Redder than Red Cranberry Sauce are made & Christmas decorations on today’s menu too! 😊
I love this and make it every year for what I call the Nigella Christmas Eve buffet! Can’t find peach halves for love nor money these days, so slices it is! 🎄🥂❤️
I still can find some under the Epicure brand with its wonderfully old-fashioned logo, but slices are lovely, too, and the spiced syrup permeates more of the fruit!
We grew up with these at our Christmas Eve table in Georgia. They were delicious and considered a delicacy. We sometimes took a jar back home to Massachusetts, where they were reserved for special meals. We could only have one per meal so they’d last longer. Will definitely be making these. 🎄

They were put there by a man
In a factory downtown..."
Now that song's stuck in my head :D
Outrageous
But they are not yet ripe in my East London garden !! 😂
