I am not fond of Doug Ford. However, one has to consider Trump. All the other candidates are focussing on the normal political talking points. Our biggest problem is not healthcare or schools.

Doug Ford is a strong Trump supporter.

Important to watch this 2017 interview where he declares his unwavering support for Trump.

I do not believe Ford has changed his opinion on Trump; he’s just saying what he needs to say to get reelected.

You should be very concerned about his Starlink contract with musk. This is a threat to democracy. Potential for huge election fraud. Crombie and Stiles are demonstrating what a healthy democracy strives for. Healthcare will be privatized under Ford where only the wealthy and stakeholders thrive.

There aren't any tariffs and they are mostly a federal issue.

Ford is a wannabe Trump - he will not defend us from Trump.

If Ford really cared about defending against Trump, he wouldn’t have called an unnecessary election now.

During elections we only have a weak caretaker govt limited by election rules of governance during writ period.

I challenge you to learn more about Doug Ford and then ask yourself if you can support a man who believes in many of the same things as Trump.
Ford is charismatic and pulls followers in.

Maybe! I grew up north of Stouffville. But back then York Region had so many dirt roads and the 404 did not exist. Though we hung out at the Upper Canada Mall as teenagers. What's Kenora like? I've driven through a few times since we'd be posted from west to east, east to west a few times

Yes, I know. But his views have changed and he is clear on that. He is a fighter and I would rather him fighting for Canada than the other candidates. We won't have to worry about health care etc, if we don't have a strong fighter for this war against the USA.

He got a majority government from 18% of eligible voters in 2022. A majority of Ontarians do not support him. We need a massive turnout from these folks, voting strategically to oust him or at least hold him to a minority. Use whatever influence you have to get that vote out and make it happen.
