At least in desktop Firefox, you can shift+right click the mini-player to unmute the stream while ads are playing. 🤫

Yeah pre-roll ads are terrible. Thankfully mid-roll ads allow you to turn those off, you just have to do like 3 minutes of them every hour. It sucks

I love starting to watch a video just to get a 30 second ad, then after a minute of video, a three minute ad. Worse is that it you have the tab open but check another tab, it doesn’t count down the ad. You could return to the tab after 5 minutes and there’s still a 30 second ad.
