I think it's great that she has enough privilege to do this and ask to be accommodated by the cow farmer. (I mean if they have the time to accommodate her.)

But if a family is working 2+ jobs to just survive how do they find time to do all of this research? To make sure it's safe, ethical, etc?

Are we trying to push more people to choose not to have children if one of the two parents can't spend 40+ hours researching to make sure it's safe for everyone?

In fairness, she is absolutely free to meet and pet a farmer's cow, etc., and lie beneath it and have the farmer squirt milk into her mouth straight from the teet, if that's her thing.

But the rest of us want to be free not to get listeria, so we'd like ours tested and pasteurized.
