I read today that the number of children taking hormone blockers is under 1000 and gender affirming care was 1900. Republicans targeted vulnerable children to drum up another wedge issue to win an election and create a moral panic over a population of .1%
You are 100% not a safe place for trans people! When trans people lose their rights, and your first inclination is to go online and go after the one trans person you don’t like, instead of supporting the ones you do then you are not an ally.
Awesome! Now I hope our allies can help. Help trans folks who are exiting red states do so. They need help, money, places to stay. Help with getting federal documents, local ID, name changes. There is a very short window of opportunity to do something.
