It seems like they took the idea that “EOD sometimes uses an M82” so they turned him into a sniper. Pretty much ignored that these were support guys, getting called out 6-7 times a day. Typical 2,000’s “one guy winning the war by himself” plot. We never got a “Platoon.” Closest was Generation Kill.
