even if this is simply recycled posts and responses, its kind of amazing that none of us would doubt it for a moment because this is the SOP for these "people".
it's the same old cycle isn't it? Disaster happens, GOP blames Dems for not doing enough only to be outed as having voted against the kind of legislation that would have helped or mitigated some of the tragedy.
rinse and repeat and the media just pushes their takes sans receipts.
this fukkin guy, part 298492

Matt Gaetz is as fake as $13 bill.
Spouting shyte at just about any occasion.
Lying is his MO.
-Poor excuse of a 'man'.
When he says βusβ he literally means the Florida Republican reps. Like, personally, so that they can embezzle half of the money and dole the rest out as favors.
Casey DeSantis is in charge of receiving and distributing the Federal $. Her hubbie had is State House clapping seals pass a law that forbade looking into the funds management. Vote Republicans they want your goods and are working hard to get it.
Matt Gaetz knows it was not cash sent to Ukraine. Munitions, Rockets, Drones, Combat weaponry, training personel, mobile radar platforms, and high capacity firearms, aka WAR stuff, is not going to be something that can be used to put the roof back on your house.
Ya the strings attach were it had to go to helping the people of Florida, not enrich DeSantis and his henchmen. If he couldn't have complete control over the $11 Billion no one will. Those in need be damned.

On behalf of my fellow Florida Man in grave need of assistance....
Just send us like half of what you sent Ukraine.

Rep. Gerry Connolly @GerryConnolly
"We passed a bill on Friday that included $18.8 billion for FEMA's hurricane response.
Every Florida Republican, including Matt Gaetz, voted no."
There should be an amendment: if you vote no on funding, it means youβre opting out of receiving it for your constituents if it passes. Maybe then weβd get lawmakers actually working for us instead of themselves.
The lying will continue until there are very real consequences for people who lie this brazenly. The only thing unique about Trump is that he taught Republicans you can lie like this and no one will stop you. That's his legacy.
The consequences should be severe. Like, if you publicly proclaim that Congress needs to pass funding AFTER you vote against giving funding, there should be a reasonable chance the House expels you. That's a lie about a matter of your voting record, not an opinion.
Lately I just assume everything out of a Republican mouth is a lie. Everything. And if the words somehow happen to say the truth by some odd coincidence, it's just an attempt to manipulate people into a larger lie.
