I have no political currency to leverage individually and senators and representatives sat idly by as each state in the union turned to a police state and as the US churned money into its largest social program; the us military industrial complex (who sell guns and vehicles to that police state)

I'm wrestling with how to manage my current ability to protest and sense of duty (as a currently, largely safe demographic) to do what little I can for my trans family.

It feels very few members of the political class are sticking their necks out.

I get that the current admin may retaliate against the CONSTITUENTS of a dissenter..

But I don't know when the focus will shift from current issue to an LGBTQ crackdown. I can't save us.

One day, after a pro-trans protest, the DOJ will point at a trans youth in attendence and arrest 600 'Groomers'
