I would chose Europe, but we would have to realise that's probably the end of our nuclear deterrent for a number of years, which is pretty terrifying in todays world. Also I work in IT and our government, business and defence systems all rely on US tech which they could potentially pull the plug on.

I have been saying for years that we needed to massively increase our defence spending and I'm literally a know-nothing. This 2.5% is too little and too slow. We need to work with the French and have a European nuclear umbrella totally independent from the US, but that will take a lot of time.
