I wish there was a secret formula for detecting AI writing at a glance but there just isn't one and spreading the idea that there is one just makes trouble for authors who like em dashes or hyphens or semicolons or whatever the tell is supposed to be this week.

One argument that stuck with me was a Tumblr booster boasting that Tumblr was better as their roleplaying accounts didn't break character EVER for ANYTHING.
The argument struck me as strange at the time because flawlessly executing programming isn't the sign of superiority, it just makes someone a machine and it was an incredibly strange flex.
But seriously, it was an interesting insight into what some people consider to be flaws in social media use. But these are the "flaws" that are the surest tell that the poster is human.
I tend to remember arguments when people think they have a real mic drop moment and they just... don't.
But also, it is extremely relevant as we hurtle toward a Dead Internet
This is also why I feel bad for digital artists who use a glossy style: they are probably being driven nuts with AI accusations
It’s very frustrating ._.
tweezing out the words in the middle. Easy fix.
