It's necessary for our mind & body to approach future decisions with wisdom & thoughtfulness
Whether creatively, personally, or through pursuit of advancement in your life
So, respectfully...

It legit takes time to appreciate rest hours. I struggle with it tons. But every time I feel down, I notice I learn something new about my personal limitations & choose to appreciate the lesson instead of fighting it.
We need time to learn & rest before we can grow💚
It's a vicious cycle that I hope we can all break
Helpful Answer: Training your mind to accept rest as part of the creative process takes time. Each time you feel guilty for resting, try being productive in other ways. Such as cleaning, reaching out to a friend, or organizing. Eventually, that guilt turns to appreciation💛
TL;DR: If I'm not doing something productive, i feel bad and I'm not a fan of feeling bad
Be it from school/job/athletic time, there was no "set rest time" just "time to do different work"
