The quote here makes it sound like he started to comment on the case and then stopped himself: “This is about the threats that shouldn’t be made, I won’t say too much because there’s a court case on, but I don’t think that’s appropriate.” So I'd agree, he's close to the line there.

We already know that failed Human Rights Lawyer Starmer (obviously he failed to end up as a politician) hates human rights and the law.

Hence his attacks on the ECHR.

So contempt of court would be pretty normal for him.
