The inner gardens of Meiji Jingu Gyoen (Garden) requiring a small entrance fee (500¥) for maintenance. Commissioned by Emperor Meiji in part for Empress Shoken and THIS specific area in the gardens was intended just for her and where she could regularly be found fishing. Constructed between 1915-21.
