Victoria park, London 2014 - so many people with camera phones out, sadly, for me it was distracting and the experience was actually really disappointing.

One month later, at Glastonbury, Saturday on the Other stage, it was one of the best gigs I've ever been to, and I've done Glastonbury 17 times.

I never was able to see a Pixies show but I did see Frank Black sometime around 2000. I remember he pulled up in a white van in Moorhead, Minnesota and played for under 100 people in a small club downtown that is no longer there.

The only time I got to see the band live was in October 2004 during that tour and also back to back shows in consecutive days. First saw Pearl Jam with Death Cab for Cutie and Gob Roberts,then the next day in a different city the Pixies. Was worth the sleep deprivation and time traveling as well.

My 1st time to see @pixiesofficial.bsky.social live, was delighted to meet #Pixies at T-42 waterfront bar after the gig (spotted Charles 1st)- I shouted a drink as thanks, but always regretted not asking for a photo. My highlight was GOUGE AWAY!

great chat with Kim & Kelley who were both at &-42 after the show, to my surprise at the bar, thanks to David & Joe for joining for a drink at Mobius that night, after saying goodnight to Charles when he headed off to bed (from memory they had to head back to the US the next day - LONG TRIP)

So my granddaughter was in a school musical. I made a photo book of all the best bits. Somehow a Pixie’s pic ended up in the book. (I thought it was the teachers taking a bow) So you’re officially famous with 10 year olds!

I have tickets for Frank's Teenager of the Year show in London and one of the Pixies shows at Brixton.
