I spent a summer in college driving from Monterrey to San Jose every day to study with the Cleveland/San Jose Ballet. It was an amazing time. The ballet was beautiful, the scenery was amazing, and the surfer boys were delicious.😜

My dad retired at Fort Ord and we settled in San José which is where I grew up. I miss Monterey and Santa Cruz so much. I did a lot of surfing and ogling the surfer boys back in the day.

I lived in Monterey twice. Once to go to school at the Presidio, then once when I thought I earned enough to live in Monterey while working for a subsidiary of Apple.
